Kitchen Location
- The South-East corner of the house is considered the most ideal for the kitchen.
- Cooking should ideally be done while facing East.
- Avoid placing the kitchen directly in front of the main entrance of the house.
Master Bedroom
- The Master Bedroom should be located in the South-West corner of an East-facing home.
- Square or rectangular-shaped bedrooms are recommended for balance and harmony.
- Avant-garde or irregular designs may be reserved for other areas of the house.
Toilet Location
- Toilets should be placed in the North-West corner of the building or the North-West corner of individual rooms.
- If not possible, South-East placement is acceptable.
- Toilets, kitchen, and Pooja room should never be adjacent to one another.
Underground Water Storage & Well
- Should be located in the North-East zone.
- Avoid placing them exactly on the diagonal line connecting the North-East and South-West corners.
Septic Tank and Soak Pit
- Best location: Western end towards the Northern side of the house.
- Second best: Northern end towards the Western side.
- No other placement is considered suitable.
Other Key Recommendations
- Keep the main entrance bright and well-lit.
- Brighten all corners of the home.
- Place a picture of a sunrise on the Southern wall of the living room.
- Ensure the dining room is not directly visible from the front entrance.
- Avoid placing mirrors in the kitchen.
- Keep bathroom and toilet doors closed as much as possible.
- Do not keep prickly plants like cactus inside the house.
- Place an aquarium in the South-East corner of the living room.
- Display a happy family photograph in the living room.
- Ensure the lift gate (if present) does not directly face the main entrance.
- Homes should be well-ventilated with adequate natural light and water supply.
- In the Pooja room, maintain an open, peaceful atmosphere.
- Ensure the worship area has sufficient light and fresh air.
- Toilets should not be located near the worship room.
